Nationals 2023
The 2023 Moth National Championships will be held over two weekends at two different venues as follows:
Round 1 Rutland Water 9th/10th September
Round 2 Mount Batten Centre Plymouth 23rd /24th September
Each of the two events will be run as a stand-alone open meeting so competitors may enter one or both events. Each event will have its own NOR and Sis, entry fee, race schedule, scoring, results and prizes. Eight races are planned on both weekends. The NOR and Sis for both events will be published in due course.
The Nationals will be one series spread over both weekends consisting of up to 16 races.
Nationals Scoring
A minimum of 4 races will be required to constitute a series.
The Low Points Scoring System of RRS Appendix A will apply.
When four races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her races scores.
When five to nine races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score
When 9 to 13 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her two worst scores
When 13 to 16 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her three worst scores
Results for the National Championship will be awarded to all competitors that enter one or both of the events. Competitors entering only 1 of the two events will be scored DNS for all races held at the event they did not enter.
Prizes for the National Championship will be presented after racing on Sunday 24th September as follows:

£26 per day
£6 per day for electricity
Please note we do not have any facilities for grey waste this will have to be taken away.

The room consists of a bunk and single bed and each room also has a sink. Along each corridor is shared toilet and shower facilities.
Breakfast & car parking are included in the price.
En-suite Room
£75 for up to 2 people and £10 for each additional person. Some rooms can sleep up to 4 people.

Premier En-suite Rooms
£85 for up to 2 people and £10 for each additional person.
